OPUS-ISM has released a new Rx Imaging Module available to all InteRx users. The Prescription Imaging Module available allows InteRx users to scan prescription images for storage in the InteRx pharmacy management system. Once the Image is scanned, it may be viewed at any time through the Rx Screen. Features of the Rx Imaging Module include:
• Eliminates the need to search through books or files for original prescription documents
• Meets or exceeds state “Best Practice”
• Expedites prescription filling
• Streamlines workflow, allowing you to quickly check the prescription hard copy
• Helps staff work more efficiently
The Rx Imaging module is simple to use. After filling the prescription, the prescription is placed in the small profile scanner and the pharmacist chooses from the bar menu whether the front or back of the Rx is scanned. The image will be stored with the prescription for later recall.
Previously only available with the Opus-ISM optional Graphical WorkFlow Program, this new Rx Imaging Module is available at a lower cost than the full WorkFlow system and may be integrated directly into your InteRx Pharmacy system.
